Her Late Summer 2013

We were so busy the whole summer and the fact that budget is too tight too because of our project home . We almost let our daughter miss her summer time. Last year was her first and she was only six months that time, and we still remember how afraid she was with the fake waves. I didn't expect it that much that she will felt completely opposite now that she's a year older. We had our shop's little treat to customers for a swimming outing  nearby . WE took advantage of it and brought my daughter along.

Ripe Mango Killer

When I was a kid, if we have fruits at home especially ripe mango, mom used to peel it for us three(with my brothers) and her share will be the bone part. Funny how my daughter loves the bone instead of the cheeks. So in my daughter today, we, husband and I , instead taking our share to the cheeks and leave the bone part to our little ripe mango killer.

She will consume 4-6 mango bones in a meal. :) or until she can see there still something in the fruit basket.

Behave Baby

I like how she behaves. I can say these because a lot we're complementing about it not only me. She was always  compared to kids at her age and proudly she's always ahead of them. From her comprehension, communication skills and behavior only except for balancing. She still cannot perfectly balanced herself and can easily draw back even by soft push of a playmate. Yet that can be easily work out. For now I am more satisfied with the way she behaves especially in a crowd. How friendly she was yet maintaining her personal distance. Maybe it is my own description of her behaving friendly but not too close to anybody except me, mom, her nanay and daddy. Other than that even if it's her aunt,uncle and other relatives an approach and a little smile will do the friendly part. She will let to be carried by them but not longer than 15 minutes or she will cry for help as if she is being kidnap. :)

Smart for an 18th Month Old

I maybe just a proud mom as I am writing this post. Bragging about my child's milestones. But believe it or not, prior I made this post I did some research and comparison to other children around the neighborhood which has the same age as hers. Aside from conversation with their parents, just like what I did in community survey when I was a student nurse, letting them play along with my daughter and silently observing the difference. I am so amazed how my daughter behaves. She's bubbly, friendly and playful. She doesn't mind playing with anybody. She's that friendly. What I observes more about her is she applies what we taught to her to others.
Like for an instance, wearing slippers all the time; We (mom, me and her dad) always telling her to wear slippers all the time except in bed, sofa and or if she was asked to remove it in entering in one's house. That simple rules we imply to her that she always obey. Which she also implies to others. I saw how she point kids without wearing slippers and approaching them in a baby way to wear one. If that kid never follow her, she will get either mom, her dad  or my attention to tell the same thing to that kid.

Another thing about her keeping her toys in order after play time. I always tell her that all of her toys,dress,slippers,bags and shoes will be thrown to trashcan if she will not going to put it in proper place after she uses them. When we we're in MIL's house, where her cousin Aneisha (she's just four months older to her) she used to play with and other by cousins, whenever she gets in the house , she'll get each shirt, dress, toys or shoes that was not in proper place and will give it to her grandma and will say "nanay kalat". 

She is also very particular with the shop's house rules. Such as no shirt no entry, no food and drinks allowed , no running inside and not too loud. So whenever she's with her dad tending the shop, no one abiders wil pass unto her eyes. She maybe watching some children clips in youtube but she will never miss to remind the house rules to the customers and if she was not being obeyed, she will asks for our attention.

There were lots that I can share about her but this traits of her captures us most. It only signifies to us that she easily recalls what we're telling her.

The Famous Bee Fries

It's Sunday and Mom felt like eating Mang Inasal's barbeque menu. So instead of cooking something special for Sunday lunch, she decided to treat us. Here in our place we have three options for fastfood. The red big bee Jollibee, the Chinese so called chef master Chowking and Mang Inasal. Since we have an 18 month old who likes Jollibee in youtube videos and pictures (not in personal she's afraid even in the statue displayed outside the store), we were often at the big red bee place. She has her favorites and one of the most is the not so yummy fries. (mom&dad is a mcdonald fries lovers) Going back, since mama decided to ate at Mang Inasal unfortunately there's no fries she can feast there. Though we want to buy her at Jollibee, I opt to. It's lunch time the sun is freakingly hot either the three of us, Mom, Hubby and me cannot bear it walking across that time to buy fries. When we arrived home the little master still asking for a french fries from Jollibee. Though she ate a lot and a halo-halo for the dessert, she still asks for it. Before her usual afternoon nap her Mama, promised her that when she woke up she will have the fries beside her. Voila true to her promise, mom went to buy her fries around five pm since she woke up at 5:15. Just right in time she feast of her favorite.

The Lollipop

You can ask her to show all of her tricks , just say a word what you want her to do and she will give in. Just promise to bribe her a lollipop. She rarely eat candies because we we're opt to give her to protect her young tooth. That's why a lollipop once in a blue moon is a priceless reward for her.
